01Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Thomas Guérinet, sole proprietor (EI), trading as Nomadis Traiteur, operating the Oviō brand. SIREN 505 191 783, registered office: 3 rue Émile Normandin, 17000 La Rochelle, France.

02What we collect

When you send a request through the contact form, we collect:

• your name and email address (required);
• your phone number (optional);
• the details of your project: occasion, destination, dates, whether your dates are flexible, number of guests;
• the message you choose to write (optional).

If you contact us by phone or email instead, we keep what you tell us in order to answer you.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical connection data, including your IP address, to secure and deliver the website, for a limited period, in accordance with its privacy policy.

03Why we use it, and on what basis

• To answer your request and prepare a quote: steps taken at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To manage our client relationship, keep a record of enquiries and protect the form against spam: our legitimate interest in running our business (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not send newsletters, we do not use your data for marketing or advertising, and we do not sell it.

04Who receives it

Your data is only accessible to Thomas Guérinet and to the service providers that help us run the website:

• Formspree, Inc. (United States): receives the content of the contact form and forwards it to us by email. Formspree also keeps an archive of submissions on its servers, hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States.
• Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): hosts and delivers the website.

These providers act on our behalf and may only use your data to provide their service.

05Transfers outside the European Union

Formspree and Cloudflare are based in the United States, so your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are covered by safeguards provided by the GDPR:

• Formspree: the transfer is governed by the Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission (Article 46 GDPR). The data is hosted by AWS in the United States.
• Cloudflare: certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and the Standard Contractual Clauses are included in its data processing agreement.

You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards that apply by writing to the address above.

06How long we keep it

Contact requests are kept for 3 years after our last contact with you, then deleted or anonymised. If a request leads to a contract, the data needed for accounting and legal obligations is kept for the period required by law.

The archive of form submissions held by Formspree is kept for 30 days. After that, your request remains only in our mailbox, where it is kept for 3 years after our last contact.

07Your rights

You can, at any time:

• access the data we hold about you and obtain a copy;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• ask for your data to be erased;
• ask us to restrict the use of your data, or object to it;
• receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@exclusive-private-chef.com. We answer within one month. We may ask you to prove your identity.

If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

08Cookies

This website does not use audience measurement, statistics or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (__cf_bm), which expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.

09Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We only ask for the data we need and limit access to it.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if we change a service provider. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
